It was a wonderful fellowship and unforgettable memory for some of the Lutheran Theological Students who gathering at the Head office of The Lutheran Church in Singapore on Saturday, 11 October 2008. We were so impressed with the hospitality of the LCS Bishop, The Rt Rev John Tan, and The Rev. Lu Guan Hoe (Chairman Education Committee-Lutheran Church in Singapore). The fellowship opened with Bible reading from Psalm, sing some songs followed by a word of prayer by Mr Jimmy, a MMin TTC student. Rev Hoe gave opportunity for Lutheran students to introduce themselves and to share their stories, struggling, hopes as well as their witnesses. The Rt Rev John Tan shared his ministry experiences and told a brief history of Lutheran Church in Singapore.

The meeting was followed by a very wonderful lunch in a restaurant with very delicious foods. Most of the foods were the first time I ever eat.

As a theological student, I would like to recommend for each of us to read an insightful book edited by Philip Duce and Daniel Strange, Keeping Your Balance. Approaching theological and religious studies (TTC Library catalog no: BV 4022.K44). I promise you, this excellent book will change your way in dealing with your studies. Find the book here http://ivpbooks.com/9780851114828 and if it is possible please order one for me:-)
